I send an S.O.S. to the world ….

I think there’s something magical about sending and receiving a message in a bottle. Nine years ago my incredibly loving sister sent me one in the mail! I remember being so surprised and touched that she would think to do this for me … not to mention feeling so loved and special too. I will never forget how exciting it was to open and read her letter. This precious memento has stayed with me since and every now and then I open the bottle and read her message again just to find that my heart gets that warm fuzzy feeling and my eyes start to water just as if I had opened it for the first time again.

I had always wanted to re-create that feeling for others in my own creative way. It’s always been on my list of things to do, my list of great ideas … “inventions” I like to call them sometimes! Like all things that I create I must be patient and wait for the right moment when all the pieces come together and the sparks ignite. And so forth, the right time has come and I dedicate my “Message in a Bottle” necklace to my amazing Sister whom has a remarkable character, strength, beauty, love, and passion for life. I am so proud to be able to call her my Sister!

What a nice post:) I love that a sister would do that. She must be very special to you. What a great memory to keep. I don't have a sister, but I have two daughters that I hope will do these kinds of things over the years. You have a really good week, Veronica:)
